Perfect venue.. Are you anxious to see a local live music show? The group was incredible, the atmosphere taking you back to what felt like the 50's. I'm not a blues person, yet I was still swept away by Freddy Cole and the backup musicians. It was a bit difficult getting up and sitting back down again because of the proximity of the tables, but nothing unbearable. Blues Alley, founded in 1965, is a jazz nightclub in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

The food is also good, and they have lots of drinks selection. French Onion soup, only OK, red beans and rice - go to Popeye's after the show, pork chops excellent. I enjoy it because it's in the heart of Georgetown and there is ample restaurants and parking to choose from during your visit. There are no events to display.
Our booking guide lists the closest hotels to Blues Alley, Washington, DC … We came about 30 minutes before the show (the earlier, the better seats) and were seated up close and personal to the stage. Sometimes the line to get in can loop around the block, so be sure you get your tickets far in advance. Choosing carefully, the food is good and the drinks are fairly priced. The service was friendly.
