I don't know why they even offer it in black, much less with black as the ONLY option. It's waterproof yes, but I don't really need it to be water proof and it's difficult to open and closed. I used it on my wedding weekend. I also tried out the Engel HD 30 which was a very nice cooler with amazing ice retention, but I wanted something a little more rugged built.
That’s my only beef with the cooler. 55% lighter than premium hard-sided coolers.
