Liquid metal has turned into what Octane used to be...they play slayer all the time because Jose likes them, they play actual metal (never anything actually brutal or non-mainstream through the day) here and there, but its mostly garbage mallcore crap now and it makes me want to punch the stereo, so I go to another station...then that other station plays the same typical band for the hundredth time and im like "ok hair nation, we know bon jovi is popular, but this station is for the real fans of hair metal, weve heard bon jovi before" so I go to another station, ad nauseum. I'm going ot have to find a whole new set of stations to play to get away from these core ones that I used to like.

ASL: The Automatic Sound Levelizer can be turned on by turning the knob. Anyone else have this same configuration? When the vehicle goes faster, volume increases. Free How do you do that? My advise to anyone is keep that thing unchecked. I have the basic entune...but im confused on steering buttons...and i dont have the stereo book...when im scrolling left to right in satalite...sometimes it cycles 1 to 40 channels...sometimes i can go left to right in higher channels if i start in a highet channel like feom the menu...if anybody knows how it sequences let me know thanksIf you are listening to a cd or something via bluetooth then left and right acts like FF and REV, up and down skips songs, press and hold the button below to mute.Can you change the FM presets to be XM presets? I have the NAV/JBL options (V6, AWD) with the ASL turned on and haven't noticed any volume difference while changing from city to highway driving.
I want music, but the variety on XM has really gone south in the past 10 years. Don't know if this helps any.

I just checked my Venza and the options for ASL are ON/OFF, no LO/MED/HIGH I also have a "SURROUND" setting between the BAL and ASL which doesn't seem to be documented in the manual. The adapter kit I was recommended had 2 plugs, which seem to cover all the basics, but the factory stereo has 3 plugs on the back. I used to listen to CBC1 alot (I'm in canada) but my politics have recently changed and I cant deal with it anymore, so thats out the door, local FM stations will ocasionally play some gems, but its a hell of alot of CANCON that Ive heard enough of to be honest.
